  We had the fajitas meal for one between the two of us and it was enough. Also very tasty. A quiet afternoon so there was no wait. Pleasant service.

  I almost didn't visit this pub because of the previous reviews, but thankfully I did go as I often visit the area and wanted to make my own mind up. The reviews are obviously old, or things must have changed substantially. The restaurant area is very appealing and welcoming, the food was fantastic, truly the best pub food I have tasted in a long time. Hot, fresh and plenty of it. All home cooked which makes the difference, yes there is a little wait, but it's well worth it. I went back twice in one week it was so good, and such a varied menu too. I wanted to book for Christmas Day but they have been fully booked since October! Highly recommended.
